"Outside of building itself, the book has been the tool architects have most often chosen to clarify, extend, and promote their ideas and projects.

This exhibition at the 2013 New York Art Book Fair of the seminar's work examines the phenomenon of the book in architecture as an array of organizational techniques and as a mediator. It suggests that the architect’s book can be more than a demonstration of competency — it can be an instrument for thinking about the production of space in its many definitions.

All the books in the exhibition are from the seminar Books and Architecture, held by Luke Bulman at Yale School of Architecture since 2008.

The exhibition was made possible by Elise Jaffe + Jeffrey Brown with additional support from the Yale School of Architecture."
